What’s included · Draw-a-map search

Let them draw the bit of town they actually want.

A buyer draws a shape on a map and sees only what is inside it. Or sets a radius from a school gate, a station or a parent’s house. It is on every site we build, and it is the search people use once they know it is there.

Nobody wants a property in a postcode

They want one on the right side of the main road, in the catchment, within a walk of the station, or near enough to a relative to help with the school run.

None of those are a postcode, and a dropdown of areas cannot express any of them. Local buyers know exactly where they want to be, down to a few streets, and a radius search in miles includes half of somewhere they have already ruled out.

Drawing is the only interface that matches the thought. It takes about four seconds, and it is the difference between a buyer trusting your search and going back to a portal to do it properly.

What it does

Draw any shape

Freehand around a few streets, a neighbourhood, or everything one side of a river. Adjust it and the results follow.

Radius from a point

Drop a pin on a school, a station or an address and search outwards from it — by distance or, where the data supports it, by journey time.

Works on a phone

Drawn with a finger, not just a mouse. Most property browsing happens on a phone on a sofa, so a map search that needs a desktop is a map search nobody uses.

Saveable and shareable

A drawn area has its own address. A buyer can come back to it, send it to their partner, or register for alerts inside that exact shape.

Alerts inside the shape

An applicant who has drawn their patch can be told the moment something new lists inside it — which is a far better matched lead than a postcode alert.

Works on any CRM

The geography is ours, not your CRM’s, so this works whether or not your system has ever heard of a map search.
