What’s included · Area guides

The pages that prove you know the patch.

Unlimited area guides, properly structured, written for the way people actually search for a place to live. Two a month come as part of your monthly, with no cap on how many you end up with — and we will write them if you would rather we did.

Why they earn their keep twice

An area guide is the only page on an agency website that works on a vendor and a search engine at the same time.

For a vendor, it is evidence. “Local knowledge” on an about page is a claim anybody can make; six hundred words on which end of a village is quieter and why is proof, and it is sitting there when they look you up the night before the valuation.

For search, it is one of very few genuinely defensible positions an independent agent has. You will not outrank a portal for “houses for sale in Kent”. You can absolutely own “what is it like to live in Herne Bay”, because a portal cannot write it and a national chain will not bother.

What goes in one
  • What the place is actually like
  • Schools, with the honest version
  • Getting to work from there
  • What houses cost, and what that buys
  • What is good and what is not
  • Your current stock in that area

How we handle them

Two a month, unlimited over time

Included in the monthly, written and published at a steady rate. There is no cap — a multi-office agency ends up with the whole patch covered, just not all in week one.

Published at a rate on purpose

Ten guides appearing in one week look like exactly what they are. Two a month looks like a site being tended, and each one gets the chance to be indexed and linked properly.

Structured, not just written

Consistent headings, internal links to the stock in that area, and the local data the site already holds. The structure is what makes them findable.

One term each

Every guide targets a different search, checked against the others first. Two pages chasing one phrase is how a site competes with itself.

Yours to edit

They are WordPress pages. If your valuer knows something we do not, they can add it in a minute without asking us.

Faster if you need it

If you want the whole patch live at launch rather than over the first few months, we write them as a batch — see services.
